MY PRECIOUS SOLITUDE

Oil on Canvas, 2024
30 × 40 in (76.2 × 101.6 cm)

My Precious Solitude celebrates the pleasure of having time to oneself. Settled comfortably in a familiar room, the figure enjoys a pause that belongs entirely to her.

Plants, patterned textiles, and vibrant color give the interior a lively presence. Her relaxed posture brings a slower rhythm to these surroundings, suggesting the ease of feeling at home in one’s own company. The title names this solitude as something valued: a part of life to make room for and enjoy.
